What the service is

checkmyhouse.ie is operated by Avlas Digital, a registered business name of a sole trader based in Ireland. Contact: [email protected].

checkmyhouse.ie collects information about a location from public Irish datasets and presents it in one place. The data belongs to the bodies that publish it (OPW, EPA, local authorities, Department of Housing, SEAI, PSRA, Department of Education) and is reproduced under their open-data licences. We are not affiliated with any of them.

What it is not

It is not a structural survey, valuation, title investigation, insurance assessment or legal advice. Public datasets contain errors, gaps and delays. A clear result means the source returned nothing for that point, not that the risk is absent. Confirm anything that matters with the source, a surveyor and a solicitor before you commit money.

No warranty

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by Irish law we accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of it, or for interruptions when a source is unavailable.

Paid reports

The full report costs €24.99 including VAT for one address, paid once through Stripe. It is delivered instantly on screen and by email as a link that keeps working without an account. As digital content supplied immediately with your agreement, the 14-day cancellation right under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 does not apply once the report has been opened. We refund in full if we matched the wrong address or a source we rely on returned nothing for the property: email [email protected] within 14 days. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.

Fair use

Personal, non-commercial use, at human speed. Bulk querying, scraping or reselling the output is not permitted; the underlying sources have their own terms for that.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
